| FISHING REPORTS |
| The cold, snow and wind has kept most guys off the lakes. Those that are going out seem to be catching fish. Bluegills at Menno, walleyes and perch at Sinai and 81 ponds, walleyes at Twin. The biggest surprise has been the fishing at Wall Lake - the fishing there has been pretty good lately for crappies, gills and some walleyes as well as an occasional northern. ALVIN - some crappies BEAVER- very few fishing here but one guy did catch some nice crappies NORTHVIEW SELLS DIAMOND, INNOVA, CALIFORNIA NATURAL, DOG AND CAT FOOD BRANDT- some walleyes and a few white bass BRUSH- before the last snow storm some decent perch were being caught Northview offers quick propane fill for your grill, hot air balloon, heater, camper or any other use! COVELL- DIAMOND- the water is very clear - the fish are there but very finiky! FAMILY POND (12-Tea Ellis RD) Trout and Crappies. Northview has lots of trout baits but they seem to bite most anything. HWY 81 PONDS- Some walleyes and even some perch Need storage space? Northview offers storage units ranging in size 8 x 8 to 11 x 30. ISLAND - walleyes late afternoon and into the night LAKOTA- some ok perch but most are running small LONG - have not heard much about Long lately Loss -was going pretty good before the last storm MADISON - one party did very well on perch but that is all we have heard OKOBOJI & Spirit - the fish are there, if you are a regular 'Boji fisher, try the usual spots. If you would like to try but have never been, talk to Matt at the Bait shop and he will tell you whatever he knows. Spirit has been good. OPITZ- No report Pahoja - Some 'Gills, crappies and even some perch being taken. Matt at Northview was out last week and did pretty good. Pickerel - fishing has been pretty good but lots of pressure POINSETTE- Have not heard much lately Northview has a selection of boat, dock and trailer parts - check them out next time you are in the store. SCOTTS- A few walleyes SINAI - fish were starting to be caught but the storms slowed things down, might be a good place to check! THOMPSON - once in a while some very nice walleyes being taken by a lucky/good angler VERMILION- guys are telling us they can see the fish but the bite is tough! WALL- A good assortment of panfish WAUBAY - at times has been very good SIOUX RIVER - MISSOURI RIVER - |
